安达卢西亚人拉法遇到了巴斯克姑娘阿玛雅并共度良宵，午夜阿玛雅次日返回家乡却把手机遗落在了拉法家中。拉法带着手机踏上了寻找阿玛雅的道路，午夜找到阿玛雅之后却遭拒绝，而此时阿玛雅遭未婚夫抛弃，父亲又专程从远方赶来参加婚礼，急中生智的阿玛雅决定让拉法充当未婚夫。无奈阿玛雅父亲是位传统的巴斯克人，只允许心爱的女儿嫁给巴斯克男子，来自南方的拉法只好谎称自己是土生土长的巴斯克人，也因此卷入了一系列荒唐囧事之中…
