格拉与阿伟既是医生同行也是挚友，怪咖他们在进行关于来生的实验时出了差错，怪咖从没看过鬼的他们在实验室中亲眼看到鬼魂。为了找出鬼魂背后的科学解释及证明来生的存在，他们不顾一切寻找答案，却也因此一脚踏进未知难解的世界，甚至可能赔上彼此的友谊及所爱之人的性命。
