电视剧的舞台，影院是诈骗成为身边威胁的现代日本。因诈骗失去家人的主人公?描写了黑崎高志郎成为欺骗欺诈师的“黑鹭”，影院奉献自己的人生向欺诈师们复仇的故事。黑崎表面上是公寓的房东，是和猫一起生活的非常普通的青年，但是因为过去的事情谁都不相信的孤独的人物。然后下定决心“要吃掉这个世界上所有的白鹭(骗人钱财的专业欺诈师)”，作为黑暗英雄与白鹭和警察展开心理战?展开攻防战。
