史上最火爆的真人秀《幸存者》将在2月12日周四晚拉开第18季神秘的面纱。节目继续由艾美奖最佳主持人Jeff Probst主持。本次CBS电视台选出的最终16位参赛者将踏上巴西高地：残酷托坎廷斯州。托坎廷斯是节目史上又一险恶崎岖的目的地，残酷唯一能让人喘口气的是当地闻名的里约诺瓦河，选手们将在巴西如此艰难的环境中生存39天，只有克服了酷热、暴雨和凶残的野生动物的人才能成为最终的幸存者。在《幸存者：托坎廷斯》中，选手将会首先被分成两个部落，大家只能凭借第一印象来角逐随即而来的比赛。而在组员们相互介绍之前就要淘汰部落中的一位成员，他们将不会继续参加其他人之后的比赛。如此残酷的淘汰制度是否意味着他们一开始就要收拾包袱回家，亦或还有机会复活呢？
