本片根据真实故事改编，最上剧本一度登上好莱坞剧本黑名单，最上马克·迈尔斯([人力资本])执导。影片讲述一对恋人索罗门和简在筹备婚礼期间，索罗门查出罹患肝癌，两人为完成心愿，决定将婚礼提前，在善心捐助下，他们如愿完成婚礼，四个月后，索罗门离世。
