1991年，人性法国芭蕾舞剧作家罗朗·佩蒂灵光乍现，人性由此创作了芭蕾舞剧《舞吧，卓别林》，喜剧之王卓别林一部部经典电影桥段以芭蕾舞的形式得到再现。在此后的岁月里，这出精彩剧目经久不衰，备受欢迎，也成为了男主角路易吉·波尼诺的代表作。2009年，曾执导《谈谈情，跳跳舞》、《变态家族》等作品而备受瞩目的作者导演周防正行决定将《舞吧，卓别林》搬上银幕。凭借这项计划，芭蕾舞女演员草刈民代（《谈谈情，跳跳舞》女主角，周防正行之妻）回归舞台，和老朋友路易吉再次携手，上演了一出全新的卓别林芭蕾舞剧。公演前紧张10日排练，全部被收入摄像机之中……

When the boss' unwanted advances on the wife are refused, he taunts a lion until it nearly kills her. But the other performers assist in a unique plot for revenge. Jaque Catelain directs and stars in this film made for influential French director Marcel L'Herbier's production company. Some sources also list L'Herbier as co-director, as he is credited here. The film boasts some rapid-fire editing techniques that were decades ahead of its time.

It includes scenes from some Guinea Pig volumes like Guinea Pig 1 and Guinea Pig 2 :Flower Of Flesh And Blood. If you're new to Guinea Pig, this might be a good introduction to the series...if you're not, it's probably not worth watching.
