河南农村女孩伊春喜（穆婷婷）因迷恋电视台一档饮食节目的主持人张杜康（张冰），性色只身来到省城郑州将他寻找。张正职是某酒店的名厨，性色春喜阴差阳错成为他身边的打荷工后，心里只有开心，并开始想尽办法讨张开心，却没等来爱情只被张狠狠羞辱。一番痛苦经历过，春喜暗下决心要成为一代豫菜名厨，要张杜康败在她的手下。卖茶叶蛋的大嫂宋小妮（蔡小艺）是春喜初到郑州结识的人，春喜惊奇其貌不扬的她竟是宋代名厨宋五嫂的第36代后人，只因厨师界传男不传女的不公，她才没有光大仙人的厨艺。春喜拜宋小妮为师后，开始在她的指点下学做豫菜，3年里，她跑遍中原大地寻尽高师名厨，学得一身好厨艺。一年一届的中原厨王争霸赛即将开始，她发誓会为自己更为厨师界所有地位卑微的女人争口气。她最强劲的对手，正是张杜康。

Every day they share their journey with the same characters, but they all keep themselves to themselves. But then one day, in the build-up to Christmas, Adam breaks the unwritten rule of travel and starts talking to the strangers on the train, inviting the whole carriage to hold their own Christmas party.

Natty runs away from the guardian she was left with to follow Dad.
