抗战胜利前夕，中文字幕线被日寇蹂躏多年的柳堡解放了。新四军开了进来，中文字幕线江南的百姓由于多年来受尽了兵匪日寇的欺侮，对拿枪的“兵”总是怀有某种不可言状的戒心。新四军战士纪律严明，作风严谨，很快就消除了当地百姓的疑惧心理，和当地百姓打成了一片。四班副班长李进（廖有梁 饰）在二妹子(陶玉玲 饰)家养伤的时候，耳鬓丝磨，产生了感情。指导员（徐林格 饰）发现后劝他们放下儿女私情。部队离开后，土豪刘胡子欲霸占二妹子，二妹子坚决不从，她心里一直想着李进。部队接到二妹子弟弟小牛(陈东岗 饰)送来的求救消息，率队返回柳堡，救出了绝境中的二妹子。但李进还是以革命大局为重，安怃好二妹子，重返抗战前线，期待胜利后重逢的日子......

回复 :1937年日军全面侵华后，华北危急。国共合作的背景下，红军改编为八路军，在总司令朱德（王伍福 饰）率领下东渡黄河奔赴前线抗战。山西实权人物阎锡山面对“国、共、日”三股力量颇为头疼，提出“守土抗日”口号，在民族大义的影响下，于形式上支持八路军抗日。朱德筹划于日军进犯山西的必经险地平型关截击，115师师长林彪临战指挥出色，成功击败板垣师团，史称“平型关大捷”。同时八路军用灵活的战术亦减轻了国军战场的压力。不久日军以优势兵力、装备围攻太原一线，蒋、阎战略判断失误，正面战场接连失败，八路军转入敌后根据地建设，自此拉开了军民抗击日寇的伟大事业……
