宇航员高村宗一（千叶雄大饰）为了取得人类在宇宙中舒适生活的样本数据，线观在宇宙中停留了1年之久。极度讨厌人类的他，线观摆脱了烦人的人际关系，与人工智能Yuri（吉冈里帆饰）一起满足于在宇宙中独自生活。有一天，他收到了前恋人鲇原咲子（门胁麦饰）的卫星线路采访。在画面上久别重逢，两人不知不觉间变成了吵架，宗一产生了怀念的心情。另一方面，人工智能Yuri发现宗一抱有的感情接近人类的恋爱之情，开始对自己存在的意义产生疑问。
