怀才不遇的导演金东秀（金相庆 饰）每天都流连在戏院前，沉醉在自己的思维里。最近他刚好看了好友的一部电影，他会觉得电影的情节便是自己的故事。与此同时。他遇到了电影中的女主角崔英实（严智媛 饰）。后来东秀在出席一个电影人聚会的路上，再次遇到了崔英实。英实正被影迷索要签名，东秀终于鼓起勇气上前问候。
