在[缩身]中有上佳表现的周洪正就加盟[美国女人](American Woman,暂译)展开洽谈，笑仙该片将把目光投向著名的“帕蒂·赫斯特绑架案”。塞米·切拉斯(《广告狂人》系列)执导该片并亲自操刀剧本。周洪将在影片中饰演Jenny Shimada一角，笑仙是一位25岁的前激进派分子，故事将围绕她与旧金山报业大亨的孙女帕蒂·赫斯特展开，后者在被绑架期间，意外地接受了绑架者的信条与信仰。
