故事发生在南宋末年，免费蜜视杨过（李铭顺 饰）从小就失去了父母成为了孤儿，免费蜜视大侠郭靖（朱厚任 饰）和黄蓉（何咏芳 饰）夫妇收留了他，将他送往了全真教，希望杨过能够成为正派人士，习得一生了得武艺。然而，全真教的教规森严，而杨过又生来跋扈叛逆，最终，他选择了逃跑，并在误打误撞之中闯入了禁地古墓之中，在那里邂逅了小龙女（范文芳 饰）。小龙女成为了杨过的师傅，两人一起生活，一起练功，随着时间的推移，渐渐产生了真挚的感情。不幸的是，小龙女的清白遭到了道士尹志平的玷污，悲愤之中，小龙女选择了出走，不知其中隐情的杨过踏上了寻找爱人的旅途。
