回复 :大导演克林特·伊斯特伍德（ClintEastwood）在《来世》（Hereafter）后将执导新片，讲述掌管美国联邦调查局（FBI）长达50年之久的局长——埃德加·胡佛的故事。\r埃德加·胡佛在美国政坛上是一个传奇人物，1924年他被任命为美国调查局的局长，1935年借迪林杰案件的机会（参见影片《公敌》）他把调查局改组成为“联邦调查局”，从而开始长达半个世纪的FBI“掌权人”的生涯，直到1972年以77岁高龄去世。\r胡佛曾是美国历史上最有权势的人物，也是最富争议的人物，他在任的近50年里，美国换了8位总统，没有一个总统敢解雇他，因为胡佛知道很多秘密，这对总统来说是最大的恐吓。\r尽管被人们称为“犯罪斗士”，胡佛也由于曾不择手段的调查和迫害激进人士而臭名昭著，另外还有很多关于他的传记著作认为他是一个没有“出柜”的同性恋和异装癖者。\r负责这部传记片剧本创作的是凭借《米尔克》（Milk）获得奥斯卡奖的编剧达斯汀·兰斯·布莱克（DustinLanceBlack）。\r克林特·伊斯特伍德将和制片人布莱恩·格雷泽（BrianGrazer）、导演朗·霍华德（RonHoward）的Imagine娱乐公司合作拍摄这部胡佛传记片，而华纳兄弟公司有望发行此片，华纳和胡佛也打过交道，1959年华纳拍摄电影《联邦调查局》（TheFBIStory）时曾邀请胡佛担当顾问。
