洪元是一名老实的货车司机，致命妻子五年前去世后，致命他一个人抚养儿子豆豆。一次豆豆帮爸爸送货，开车撞上了闯红灯的刘大爷，刘大爷无大碍，但是他的儿子、儿媳得知驾车的豆豆没有驾驶证讹上了洪元，洪元卖了车但是远远不够数目，豆豆不忍心看父亲遭罪，终于找到警察交待了事实。刘大爷的儿子因犯敲诈勒索罪最终被判刑。
