陈美丽（刘若英）和林美丽（曾静）生活在完全不同的两个世界，欧美一个家住高层公寓，欧美一个家在老旧瓦房，却都为青春心事或快乐或烦恼着。戏院的卖票工作令她们相识在“非请勿入”的售票亭后，她们的命运有了交叉，开始分享彼此的青春悲喜和成长隐密，并在孤单落寂被欢声笑语短暂取代时生出朦胧的情感。然而过往经历形成的不同个性不会因一夜温暖变得相同。清醒过后，只想记住此刻的美好的林美丽留下纸条选择离开，陈美丽则决定为两人难得的缘分和可能的幸福争取一把。
